✧ Prohibition of Lifting the Sacred Stone Until It is Licked

أَخْبَرَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرًا يَقُولُ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا أَكَلَ أَحَدُكُمُ الطَّعَامَ فَلَا يَمْسَحْ يَدَهُ حَتَّى يَلْعَقَهَا أَوْ يُلْعِقَهَا وَلَا يَرْفَعِ الصَّحْفَةَ حَتَّى يَلْعَقَهَا أَوْ يُلْعِقَهَا؛ فَإِنَّ آخِرَ الطَّعَامِ فِيهِ بَرَكَةٌ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When one of you eats food, let him not wipe his hand until he licks it or has it licked, and let him not lift the dish until he licks it or has it licked, for the last part of the food has blessing in it."
