✧ Inheritance of the Followers of al-Muwalaah

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى أَبُو مُوسَى الْعَنَزِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْحَنَفِيِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ عَنْ تَمِيمٍ يَعْنِي الدَّارِيَّ قَالَ

سَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ يُسْلِمُ عَلَى يَدَيْ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ قَالَ «هُوَ أَوْلَى النَّاسِ بِمَحْيَاهُ وَبِمَمَاتِهِ»

Translation

✧ I asked the Prophet ﷺ about a man from the polytheists who becomes Muslim at the hands of a man from the Muslims. He said: 'He is the closest of people to him in his life and in his death.'
