أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ صُدْرَانَ بَصْرِيٌّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ وَهُوَ ابْنُ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ بُدَيْلٍ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ رَاشِدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَامِرٍ الْهَوْزَنِيِّ عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ تَرَكَ مَالًا فَلِأَهْلِهِ وَمَنْ تَرَكَ كَلًّا فَإِلَى اللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ» وَرُبَّمَا قَالَ فَإِلَيْنَا قَالَ وَأنا عُصْبَةُ مَنْ لَا عُصْبَةَ لَهُ أَرِثُهُ وَأَعْقِلُ عَنْهُ وَالْخَالُ عُصْبَةُ مَنْ لَا عُصْبَةَ لَهُ يَعْقِلُ عَنْهُ وَيَرِثُهُ

✧ From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he said: “Whoever leaves wealth, it is for his heirs; and whoever leaves a burden, it is to Allah and His Messenger.” He sometimes said: “then it is to us.” He said: “I am the paternal uncle of the one who has no paternal uncle; I inherit from him and pay his blood money on his behalf. And the maternal uncle is the paternal uncle of the one who has no paternal uncle; he pays his blood money on his behalf and inherits from him.”
