✧ The witness of the scene and mentioning the disagreement between Khalid al-Hadda and al-Jurairi over Yazid bin Abdullah in the narration of Ayyad bin Himar's hadith in it.

أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَخَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ عِيَاضِ بْنِ حِمَارٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ سُئِلَ عَنِ اللُّقَطَةِ فَقَالَ «تُعَرَّفُ وَلَا تُغَيَّبُ وَلَا تُكْتَمْ فَإِنْ جَاءَ صَاحِبُهَا فَهُوَ لَهُ وَإِلَّا فَهُوَ مَالُ اللهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about a lost item. He said: 'It should be announced and not hidden or concealed. If its owner comes, it is his; otherwise, it is the wealth of Allah which He gives to whom He wills.'
