al-Sunan al-Kubra (al-Nasa'i) 5711

✧ The license for the deceased to leave her house during her waiting period and to vacate her home.

أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ مَاهَانَ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ عَنْ هُشَيْمٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سَيَّارٌ وَحُصَيْنٌ وَمُغِيرَةُ وَدَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدٍ وَإِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ وَذَكَرَ آخَرُ عَنِ الشَّعْبِي قَالَ دَخَلْتُ عَلَى فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ قَيْسٍ فَسَأَلْتُهَا

عَنْ قَضَاءِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَيْهَا فَقَالَتْ طَلَّقَهَا زَوْجُهَا الْبَتَّةَ فَخَاصَمَتْ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي السُّكْنَى وَالنَّفَقَةِ قَالَتْ فَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ لِي سُكْنَى وَلَا نَفَقَةً «وَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ أَعْتَدَّ فِي بَيْتِ ابْنِ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ»

✧ About the ruling of the Messenger of God ﷺ regarding her, she said: "Her husband divorced her irrevocably, and she brought a dispute before the Messenger of God ﷺ about housing and maintenance. She said: He did not grant me housing or maintenance, and ordered me to observe my waiting period in the house of Ibn Umm Maktum."
