✧ Marriage of the man to his young daughter, and mentioning the differences in the words of the narrators regarding the story of Aisha, the mother of the believers, in that situation.

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ رَاهَوَيْهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَهُوَ ابْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنِ الْأَجْلَحِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ تَزَوَّجَهَا «وَهِيَ بِنْتُ سِتِّ سِنِينَ وَدَخَلَ بِهَا وَهِيَ بِنْتُ تِسْعِ سِنِينَ» قَالَ لَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ اخْتُلِفَ فِي اسْمِهِ فَقِيلَ اسْمُهُ شُعْبَةُ وَقِيلَ مُحَمَّدٌ وَقِيلَ اسْمُهُ كُنْيَتُهُ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ married her when she was six years old, and consummated the marriage with her when she was nine years old. Abu ‘Abd al-Rahman said to us: Abu Bakr b. ‘Ayyash – there is disagreement about his name; some say his name is Shu‘bah, some say Muhammad, and some say his name is his kunya.
