al-Sunan al-Kubra (al-Nasa'i) 5346

✧ Marriage of the man to his young daughter, and mentioning the differences in the words of the narrators regarding the story of Aisha, the mother of the believers, in that situation.

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ يَعْنِي مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ خَازِمٍ الضَّرِيرَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «تَزَوَّجَهَا وَهِيَ بِنْتُ سِتِّ سِنِينَ وَبَنَى بِهَا وَهِيَ بِنْتُ تِسْعٍ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ married her when she was six years old, and consummated the marriage with her when she was nine.
