✧ Disapproval of marrying a child born out of wedlock

أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ وَهُوَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «تُنْكَحُ الْمَرْأَةُ لِأَرْبَعَةٍ لِمَالِهَا وَلِحَسَبِهَا وَلِجَمَالِهَا وَلِدِينِهَا فَاظْفَرْ بِذَاتِ الدِّينِ تَرِبَتْ يَدَاكَ»

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: 'A woman is married for four things: her wealth, her lineage, her beauty, and her religion. So win the one of religion, may your hands be dusty.'
