al-Sunan al-Kubra (al-Nasa'i) 5288

✧ Prophet's ﷺ Marriage and what Allah, the Glorious, has made permissible for His Prophet ﷺ and forbidden for His creation, as an increase in His honor and a clarification of His excellence.

أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْجَوْزَجَانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

«تُوُفِّيَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَعِنْدَهُ تِسْعُ نِسْوَةٍ يُصِيبُهُنَّ إِلَّا سَوْدَةَ فَإِنَّهَا وَهَبَتْ يَوْمَهَا وَلَيْلَتَهَا لِعَائِشَةَ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ died while he had nine wives with whom he had relations, except Sawdah, for she gave her day and night to 'A'ishah.
