✧ The ruling on someone who drinks alcohol consecutively

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ زُرَارَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ أَبِي النَّجُودِ عَنْ ذَكْوَانَ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ شَرِبَ الْخَمْرَ فَاجْلِدُوهُ فَإِنْ عَادَ فَاجْلِدُوهُ فَإِنْ عَادَ فَاجْلِدُوهُ ثُمَّ إِنْ شَرِبَ فِي الرَّابِعَةِ فَاضْرِبُوا عُنُقَهُ»

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever drinks wine, flog him; if he repeats, flog him; if he repeats, flog him; then if he drinks for the fourth time, strike his neck."
