✧ Permission for a menstruating woman to go away if she has completed her ritual bath on the day of sacrifice

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ
لَمَّا أَرَادَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ يَنْفَرَ رَأَى صَفِيَّةَ عَلَى بَابِ خِبَائِهَا كَئِيبَةً أَوْ حَزِينَةً وَحَاضَتْ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «عَقْرَى أَوْ حَلْقَى إِنَّكِ لَحَابِسَتُنَا أَفَضْتِ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ؟» قَالَتْ نَعَمْ قَالَ «فَانْفِرِي إِذًا»

✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ intended to depart, he saw Ṣafiyyah at the door of her tent, gloomy or sad, and she had menstruated. The Prophet ﷺ said: “ʿAqra! Or ḥalqa! You are indeed holding us back. Did you perform the ifāḍah on the Day of Sacrifice?” She said: “Yes.” He said: “Then depart.”
