أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
بَيْنَمَا رَجُلٌ وَاقِفٌ بِعَرَفَةَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ إِذْ وَقَعَ مِنْ رَاحِلَتِهِ فَأَقْعَصَهُ أَوْ قَالَ فَأَقْعَصَتْهُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «اغْسِلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَكَفِّنُوهُ فِي ثَوْبَيْنِ وَلَا تُحَنِّطُوهُ وَلَا تُخَمِّرُوا رَأْسَهُ فَإِنَّ اللهَ يَبْعَثُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُلَبِّيًا»
Translation

While a man was at ʿArafat (for Hajj) with Messenger of Allah ﷺ the fell down from his Mount and broke his neck (and died). So Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Wash him with water and Sidr and shroud him in two pieces of cloth and neither perfume him nor cover his head, for Allah will resurrect him on the Day of Resurrection and he will be saying 'Labbaik."
