أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُوسَى وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ شَهِدَ عِنْدِي نَفَرٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَصْرَةِ مِنْهُمْ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ عَنْ مَعْقِلِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ
أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَرَّ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَأنا أَحْتَجِمُ فِي ثَمَانَ عَشْرَةَ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ فَقَالَ «أَفْطَرَ الْحَاجِمُ وَالْمَحْجُومُ» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ كَانَ قَدِ اخْتَلَطَ وَلَا نَعْلَمُ أَنَّ أَحَدًا رَوَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عَنْهُ غَيْرُ هَذَيْنِ عَلَى اخْتِلَافِهِمَا عَلَيْهِ فِيهِ وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ رَوَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ أَبُو حَرَّةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ وَاخْتُلِفَ عَلَيْهِ فِيهِ

✧ He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by me while I was being cupped on the eighteenth of Ramadan, and said: "The cupper and the cupped have broken the fast." Abu Abd al-Rahman said: Ata' b. al-Sa'ib had become confused, and we do not know that anyone narrated this hadith from him other than these two, despite their differences over it, and Allah knows best. Abu Harrah narrated this hadith from al-Hasan, and there was disagreement over it from him.
