أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ طَاوُسٌ قُلْتُ لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ذَكَرُوا
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «اغْتَسِلُوا وَاغْسِلُوا رُءُوسَكُمْ وَإِنْ لَمْ تَكُونُوا جُنُبًا وَأَصِيبُوا مِنَ الطِّيبِ» فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ فَأَمَّا الْغُسْلُ فَنَعَمْ وَأَمَّا الطِّيبُ فَلَا أَدْرِي

✧ That the Prophet ﷺ said, "Perform ghusl and wash your heads, even if you are not in a state of janabah, and apply perfume." Ibn Abbas said, "As for ghusl, yes; as for perfume, I do not know."
