أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو قُتَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُهَيْلُ بْنُ أَبِي حَزْمٍ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَرَأَ {إِنَّ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا رَبُّنَا اللهُ ثُمَّ اسْتَقَامُوا} [فصلت 30] قَالَ «قَدْ قَالَهَا النَّاسُ ثُمَّ كَفَرُوا فَمَنْ مَاتَ عَلَيْهَا فَهُوَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الِاسْتِقَامَةِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited: {Indeed, those who say, “Our Lord is Allah,” and then remain steadfast.} [Fuṣṣilat: 30], and said: “People have said it and then disbelieved. Whoever dies upon it is among the people of steadfastness.”
