أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ أَبِي دَاوُدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ثَابِتًا قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا قَالَ
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُكْثِرُ أَنْ يَدْعُوَ {رَبَّنَا آتِنَا} [البقرة 201] فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِقَتَادَةَ فَقَالَ كَانَ أَنَسٌ يَدْعُو بِهَذَا

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to frequently supplicate: {Our Lord, give us in this world good and in the Hereafter good, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire} [al-Baqarah 201]. Shu'ba said: I mentioned that to Qatadah and he said: Anas used to supplicate with this.
