أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ قَالَ قَالَ مِسْعَرٌ أَخْبَرَنَا سِمَاكٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَاطِبٍ قَالَ
صَنَعَتْ أُمِّي مَرَقَةً فَاهْرَاقَتْ عَلَى يَدِي فَذَهَبَتْ بِي أُمِّي إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ كَلَامًا لَمْ أَحْفَظْهُ فَسَأَلْتُهَا عَنْهُ فِي إِمَارَةِ عُثْمَانَ مَا قَالَ؟ فَقَالَتْ «أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي»

✧ My mother made some broth and it spilled on my hand, so my mother took me to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He said words that I did not memorize. I asked her about it during the rule of Uthman what he had said. She said: “Remove the harm, Lord of the people, and heal, You are the Healer.”
