أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَاطِبٍ قَالَ
تَنَاوَلْتُ قِدْرًا فَأَصَابَ كَفِّي مِنْ مَائِهَا فَاحْتَرَقَ ظَهْرُ كَفِّي فَانْطَلَقَتْ بِي أُمِّي إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ» وَأَحْسِبُهُ قَالَ «وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي» وَيَتْفِلُ خَالَفَهُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ وَمِسْعَرٌ

✧ I took hold of a cooking pot and some of its water touched my palm, so the back of my hand got burned. My mother took me to the Prophet ﷺ, and he said: “Remove the harm, Lord of the people,” and I think he said: “and heal, You are the Healer,” and he spat. Zakariyya b. Abi Za'ida and Mis'ar disagreed with him.
