✧ What Jibril Used to Seek Refuge for the Prophet ﷺ

أَخْبَرَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ هِلَالٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ صُهَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ
أَنَّ جِبْرِيلَ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ أَشْتَكَيْتَ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ» قَالَ بِاسْمِ اللهِ أَرْقِيكَ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ يُؤْذِيكَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ نَفْسٍ أَوْ حَاسِدٍ بِاسْمِ اللهِ أَرْقِيكَ وَاللهُ يَشْفِيكَ
Translation

✧ Jibril came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, 'O Muhammad, are you complaining of pain?' He said, 'Yes.' He said, 'In the name of Allah I perform ruqyah for you from everything that harms you, from the evil of every soul or envier. In the name of Allah I perform ruqyah for you, and Allah heals you.'
