أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي صَيْفِيٌّ عَنْ أَبِي السَّائِبِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ بِالْمَدِينَةِ نَفَرًا مِنَ الْجِنِّ أَسْلَمُوا فَمَنْ رَأَى شَيْئًا مِنْ هَذِهِ الْعَوَامِرِ فَلْيُؤْذِنْهُ ثَلَاثًا فَإِنْ بَدَا لَهُ بَعْدُ فَلْيَقْتُلْهُ فَإِنَّهُ شَيْطَانٌ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: “In Madinah there is a group of jinn who have embraced Islam. Whoever sees any of these inhabitants of houses (snakes), let him give it notice three times. If it appears to him after that, let him kill it, for it is a devil.”
