أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ
جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَأْسِي فِي الْمَنَامِ ضُرِبَ فَرَأَيْتُهُ يَتَدَهْدَهُ؟ فَضَحِكَ وَقَالَ «يَعْمِدُ الشَّيْطَانُ إِلَى أَحَدِكُمْ فَيَتَهَوَّلُهُ ثُمَّ يَغْدُو يُخْبِرُ بِهِ النَّاسَ؟»

✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, 'I saw in a dream that my head was struck, and I saw it rolling away.' He laughed and said, 'Satan targets one of you and terrifies him, then he goes and tells people about it.'
