✧ Preventing a person from being informed about Satan's manipulation in their dream

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِأَعْرَابِيٍّ جَاءَهُ قَالَ إِنِّي حَلَمْتُ أَنَّ رَأْسِي قُطِعَ فَأَنَا أَتْبَعَهُ؟ فَزَجَرَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «لَا تُخْبِرْ بِتَلَعُّبِ الشَّيْطَانِ بِكَ فِي الْمَنَامِ»

✧ On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that he said to a Bedouin who came to him and said: “I dreamt that my head was cut off and I was following it.” The Prophet ﷺ rebuked him and said: “Do not inform about Satan’s playing with you in the dream.”
