أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا أَوَى إِلَى فِرَاشِهِ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ أَسْلَمْتُ نَفْسِي إِلَيْكَ وَوَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِي إِلَيْكَ وَفَوَّضْتُ أَمْرِي إِلَيْكَ وَأَلْجَأْتُ ظَهْرِي إِلَيْكَ آمَنْتُ بِكِتَابِكَ الَّذِي أَنْزَلْتَ وَبِرَسُولِكَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلْتَ» خَالَفَهُمْ لَيْثٌ 10547 أَخْبَرَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ لَيْثًا يَذْكُرُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يَسَافٍ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا أَوَيْتَ إِلَى فِرَاشِكَ» نَحْوَهُ قَالَ مُعْتَمِرٌ وَحَدَّثَنِي بِهِ الْحَجَّاجُ وَغَيْرُهُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ
Translation

✧ It was narrated that when the Prophet ﷺ would go to bed, he would say, "O Allah, I have submitted myself to You, and I have turned my face towards You, and I have entrusted my affairs to You, and I have sought refuge in You for my back. I believe in Your Book which You revealed, and in Your Messenger whom You sent." Layth (narrator) contradicted them and told us that Ziyad ibn Yahya informed us that Al-Mu'tamir ibn Sulayman said, "I heard Layth mentioning from Abu Ishaq from Hilal ibn Yasaf from Al-Bara' ibn 'Azib who said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'When you go to bed' similar to it. Al-Mu'tamir said, "I have also narrated this hadith from Al-Hajjaj and others through Abu Ishaq."
