أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ وَسُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ
قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ الْمُؤْمِنُ الْقَوِيُّ خَيْرٌ وَأَحَبُّ إِلَى اللهِ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِ الضَّعِيفِ وَفِي كُلٍّ خَيْرٌ احْرِصْ عَلَى مَا يَنْفَعُكَ وَلَا تَعْجِزْ فَإِنْ غَلَبَكَ أَمْرٌ فَقُلْ قَدَّرَ اللهُ وَمَا شَاءَ وَإِيَّاكَ وَاللَّوْ فَإِنَّ اللَّوْ تَفْتَحُ عَمَلَ الشَّيْطَانِ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said: “The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than the weak believer, and in each there is good. Be keen on what benefits you, and do not be helpless. If a matter overcomes you, then say: ‘Allah decreed, and what He willed, He did.’ Beware of ‘if,’ for ‘if’ opens the work of Satan.”
