أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنْ جُنْدُبِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ
أُدْمِيَ إِصْبَعُ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي بَعْضِ الْمَغَازِي فَقَالَ «هَلْ أَنْتَ إِلَّا إِصْبَعٌ دَمِيتَ وَفِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ مَا لَقِيتَ»

✧ The finger of the Prophet ﷺ bled during one of the military expeditions, and he said: “Are you anything but a finger that has bled, and in the path of Allah what you have encountered?”
