أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنِ الْجَلَّاحِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحُبُلِيِّ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ شَبِيبٍ السَّبَائِيِّ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ قَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ عَشْرَ مَرَّاتٍ عَلَى إِثْرِ الْمَغْرِبِ بَعَثَ اللهُ لَهُ مَسْلَحَةً يَحْفَظُونَهُ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ حَتَّى يُصْبِحَ وَكُتِبَ لَهُ بِهَا عَشْرَ حَسَنَاتٍ مُوجِبَاتٍ وَمُحِيَ عَنْهُ عَشْرُ سَيِّئَاتٍ مُوبِقَاتٍ وَكَانَتْ لَهُ كَعَدْلِ عَشْرِ رِقَابٍ مُؤْمِنَاتٍ خَالَفَهُ عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ 10339 أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ أَنَّ الْجُلَاحَ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمَعَافِرِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ عَمَّارًا السَّبَائِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ قَالَ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ أَوِ الصُّبْحِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ عَشْرَ مَرَّاتٍ بَعَثَ اللهُ لَهُ مَسْلَحَةً يَحْرُسُونَهُ حَتَّى يُصْبِحَ وَمِنْ حِينِ يُصْبِحُ حَتَّى يُمْسِيَ نَحْوَهُ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever says: ‘There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner; to Him belongs sovereignty and to Him belongs praise; He gives life and He gives death, and He is over all things powerful’ ten times immediately after sunset, Allah will send for him a guard who will protect him from Satan until he enters the morning, and ten good deeds that necessitate Paradise will be written for him, and ten destructive sins will be erased from him, and it will be for him like the freeing of ten believing slaves.” ʿAmr b. al-Harith differed from him. Ahmad b. ʿAmr b. al-Sarh informed us, saying: Ibn Wahb informed us, saying: ʿAmr b. al-Harith informed me that al-Julah narrated to him that Abu Abd al-Rahman al-Maʿafiri narrated to him that ʿAmmar al-Sabaʾi narrated to him that a man from the Ansar narrated to him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever says after sunset or dawn: ‘There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner; to Him belongs sovereignty and to Him belongs praise; He gives life and He gives death, and He is over all things powerful’ ten times, Allah will send for him a guard who will protect him until he enters the morning, and from the time he enters the morning until he enters the evening, the like of that.”
