أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدٌ عَنْ زُهَيْرٍ وَهُوَ ابْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ ثَعْلَبَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ قَالَ حِينَ يُصْبِحُ وَحِينَ يُمْسِي فَمَاتَ مِنْ يَوْمِهِ أَوْ لَيْلَتِهِ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ مَنْ قَالَ اللهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ أَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ أَبُوءُ بِنِعْمَتِكَ وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي إِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Whoever says when he reaches the morning and when he reaches the evening: 'O Allah, You are my Lord. There is no god but You. You created me and I am Your servant. I am upon Your covenant and Your promise as much as I am able. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your favor upon me and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for none forgives sins except You,' and then dies that day or that night, he will enter Paradise.
