✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to teach us the sermon of need: "Indeed all praise is for Allah; we praise Him, seek His help, and seek refuge in Allah from the evils of our own selves. Whoever Allah guides, none can mislead, and whoever He sends astray, none can guide. I bear witness that there is no deity but Allah alone, with no partner, and that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger." [184] Abu Ubaydah said: And I heard Abu Musa say: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say: 'If you wish to connect your sermon with verses from the Quran, then say: {Fear Allah as He should be feared, and do not die except as Muslims} [Aal Imran 102], {And fear Allah, through whom you ask one another, and the wombs. Indeed Allah is ever watchful over you} [al-Nisa 1], {Fear Allah and speak a just word} [al-Ahzab 70] up to {a tremendous success} [al-Nisa 73]. To proceed, then speak of your need.'" Isra'il combined them.
