أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ عَلَّمَنَا خُطْبَةَ الْحَاجَةِ «الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ» مِثْلَهُ سَوَاءٌ وَزَادَ فِيهِ يَقْرَأُ ثَلَاثَ آيَاتٍ {يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللهَ حَقَّ تُقَاتِهِ} [آل عمران 102] و {يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُوا رَبَّكُمُ الَّذِي خَلْقَكُمْ مِنْ نَفْسٍ وَاحِدَةٍ} [النساء 1] و {يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللهَ وَقُولُوا قَوْلًا سَدِيدًا} [الأحزاب 70] ثُمَّ يَذْكُرُ حَاجَتَهُ

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ who said: "He taught us the sermon of need: 'Praise be to Allah...'" the like of it exactly, and he added in it: "He recites three verses: {O you who believe, fear Allah as He should be feared} [Aal Imran 102], {O mankind, fear your Lord, who created you from a single soul} [al-Nisa 1], and {O you who believe, fear Allah and speak a just word} [al-Ahzab 70]. Then he mentions his need."
