Translation

This hadith has been reported on the authority of Ibn Umar but through another chain of transmitters.

• وَحَدَّثَنِيهِ حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الشَّاعِرِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا حَرْبُ بْنُ شَدَّادٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ عُمَرَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ. مِثْلَ حَدِيثِ هَؤُلاَءِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

Shaddād narrated to us, from Yaḥyā: Abū Salamah narrated to me: Ibn ʿUmar narrated to me, he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, the like of the hadith of these narrators from Ibn ʿUmar.
