حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ يَعِيشَ ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ أَبِي أَنَسٍ عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ عَنْ خُفَافِ بْنِ إِيمَاءَ بْنِ رَحَضَةَ الْغِفَارِيِّ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا جَلَسَ فِي آخِرِ صَلَاتِهِ يُشِيرُ بِأُصْبُعِهِ السَّبَّابَةِ» وَكَانَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ يَقُولُونَ يَسْحَرُ بِهَا وَكَذَبُوا وَلَكِنَّهُ التَّوْحِيدُ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ, when he sat at the end of his prayer, would point with his index finger. The polytheists used to say that he was casting a spell with it—they lied—but it is tawḥīd.
