The prohibition of making Nabidh in al-Muzaffat, Ad-Dubba' (Gourds), al-Hantam and An-Naqir; This has been abrogated and now it is permitted, so long as it does not become intoxicating

قَالَ أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ وَسَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ
نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْجَرِّ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ وَالنَّقِيرِ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا لَمْ يَجِدْ شَيْئًا يُنْتَبَذُ لَهُ فِيهِ نُبِذَ لَهُ فِي تَوْرٍ مِنْ حِجَارَةٍ

Jabir b. 'Abdullah reported that Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade (the preparation) of Nabidh in green pitcher, in varnished jar, in hollow stump, and when Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not find anything to prepare Nabidh in that (i. e. waterskin), it was prepared for him in a big bowl made of stone.
