Sahih Muslim 1590b

The Prohibition of selling silver for gold to be paid at a later date

حَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ عَنْ يَحْيَى وَهُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرَةَ قَالَ نَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِمِثْلِهِ

Translation

Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited us. The rest of the hadith is the same.

    machine translationIsḥāq b. Manṣūr narrated to me: Yaḥyā b. Ṣāliḥ informed us: Muʿāwiyah narrated to us, from Yaḥyā, who is Ibn Abī Kathīr, from Yaḥyā b. Abī Isḥāq, that ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Abī Bakrah informed him that Abū Bakrah said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade us, with similar wording.
