machine translationThese are rejected (munkar) hadiths, as if they were fabricated (mawḍūʿ). My father said: Al-Awzāʿī did not hear this hadith from ʿAṭāʾ; he heard it from a man whom he did not name. I suspect that he is ʿAbdullāh b. ʿĀmir or Ismāʿīl b. Muslim. This hadith is not authentic, and its chain of transmission is not established.

Wardān from ʿUqbah b. ʿĀmir, raised to the Prophet (marfūʿ), similar to it. He said: These are rejected (munkar) hadiths, as if they were fabricated (mawḍūʿ).
