✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to look after the Ansar, visit them, and ask about them. We were informed that a woman from the Ansar had a son who died and she was greatly distressed over him. He ﷺ came to her and ordered her to fear Allah Almighty and be patient. She said: O Messenger of Allah, I am a childless woman who does not give birth, and I had no child other than him. He ﷺ said: The truly childless is the one whose child remains alive. Then he ﷺ said: There is no Muslim man or Muslim woman for whom three children die but that Allah will admit them both to Paradise. Umar ؓ said: May my father be sacrificed for you, O Messenger of Allah, and two? He ﷺ said: And two.
