✧ The prohibition of affectation and hardship in worship

قَالَ الْحَارِثُ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ، ثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ؓ قَالَتْ:

كَانَ أَحَبُّ الْأَعْمَالِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ: مَا دَامَ عَلَيْهِ الْعَبْدُ وَإِنْ قَلَّ

✧ The most beloved of deeds to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was that which a servant persists in, even if it is little.
