✧ When the Day of Resurrection comes, Allah, Exalted, will separate between the people of Paradise and the people of the Fire. And when it is Monday and Thursday, pulpits of light will be placed around the Throne, and pulpits of chrysolite and ruby. The angels entrusted with them will say: 'Our Lord, for whom have You placed these pulpits?' It will be cast upon their mouths: 'For the strangers.' They will say: 'Our Lord, who are the strangers?' It will be cast upon their mouths: 'A people who loved one another for the sake of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, without having seen Him.' While they are like that, each man of them will come, knowing his seat better than one of you knows his seat in his pavilion with his wife in the abode of this world. Their nearness to the Lord, Blessed and Exalted, will be according to their ranks in Paradise. When the people are complete, the Lord, Mighty and Majestic, will say: 'My servants, My creation, My visitors, and those who loved one another for My majesty without having seen Me – feed them.' They will be fed. Then He will say: 'Give them fruit.' Then they will be brought fruit containing every desire, pleasure, and fragrant scent. Then the Lord will say: 'Give them drink.' They will be brought vessels of which it is not known whether the vessel is whiter or what is in it. Then He will say: 'Clothe them.' They will be brought fruit that cleaves the ground like the breasts of virgin women; in each fruit are seventy garments, no garment resembling its sister. Then He will say: 'Perfume them.' A wind will blow and fill them with strong musk, the like of which no human has ever smelled. Then He will say: 'Remove the cover for them.' Between Allah, Exalted, and the nearest of His creation to Him are seventy thousand veils of light. The nearest of His creation to Him, from among the angels brought near, cannot raise his head to the lowest of those veils. Then those veils will be lifted, and the people will fall prostrate because of what they see of the greatness of Allah, Exalted. The Lord, Majestic and High, will say: 'Raise your heads. You are not in the abode of action; rather, you are in the abode of blessing and abiding. You will have the like of what you are in, and its like with it. Are you pleased, My servants?' They will say: 'We are pleased, our Lord, if You are pleased with us.' Then the people will return to their dwellings, having been doubled in beauty, spouses, food, drink, and everything of their affair in that manner. While they are like that, suddenly something beside them will light up his temples with beauty, and he will say: 'Who are you?' It will say: 'I am the one of whom Allah, Exalted, said: "And with Us is more."' While they are like that, seventy thousand angels will come to each servant, with each angel a vessel unlike its companion, and upon his vessel something unlike its companion. They will consult among themselves as to which of them should be taken from. They will say: 'This, your Lord has sent with me to you, and He conveys peace to you.' He said: 'There are no two servants who became brothers for the sake of Allah, Exalted, but their dwellings face each other. The servant looks to the farthest part of his brother's dwelling, except that when they desire something of the pleasures of women, the veils are let down between them.'
