✧ A man from the people of Paradise will look down upon a man from the people of the Fire, and he will call out to the one in the Fire: 'O so-and-so, do you not recognize me?' He will say: 'No, by Allah, I do not recognize you. Who are you, woe to you?' He will say: 'I am the one you passed by in the world, and you asked me for a drink of water, and I gave it to you. So intercede for me thereby with your Lord.' He said: Then that man will enter upon Allah in his visit, and he will say: 'O Lord, I looked down upon the people of the Fire, and a man from the people of the Fire stood and called out: O so-and-so, do you not recognize me? I said: By Allah, I do not recognize you. Who are you? He said: I am the one you passed by in the world, and you asked me for a drink and I gave it to you. So intercede for me thereby with your Lord.' Then he will say: 'O Lord, accept my intercession for him.' He said: Then Allah will accept his intercession for him and bring him out of the Fire.
