✧ Everything has a coming and a going; indeed this religion has a coming and a going. Among the coming of this religion is what Allah sent me with, such that a tribe would gain understanding from its last members, until none remain except one or two sinners, and they are overpowered, suppressed, and humiliated. If they speak or utter, they are suppressed, overpowered, and oppressed. Then he mentioned among the going of this religion: that a whole tribe will become harsh from its last members, until none remain in it except one or two jurists, and they are overpowered, suppressed, and humiliated. If they speak or utter, they are suppressed, overpowered, and oppressed, and it is said to them: Do you transgress against us? So much so that wine will be drunk in their gathering places—the evil—and their assemblies and markets, and wine will be renamed without its name, until the last of this ummah curses its first, unless the curse befalls them, and they say: There is no harm in this drink; a man among them drinks as much as he wishes then refrains, until a woman passes by and he goes to her and lifts her garment and has intercourse with her while they watch, just as the garment of a ewe is lifted. He lifted a garment upon him of these sahuli garments, and one among them would say: If only you had avoided her on the road. That among them is like Abu Bakr and Umar ؓ. So whoever reaches that time and enjoins good and forbids evil, he will have the reward of fifty of those who accompanied me and believed in me and trusted me.
