✧ The Emergence of Corruption in the End of Time and the Virtue of Enjoining Good at That Time

وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى: حَدَّثَنَا غَسَّانُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ، عَنْ مُوسَى، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ؓ، قَالَ:

قَالَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: يُمَكِّنُ اللهُ تَعَالَى لَكُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ، تَعْمَلُونَ فِيهَا مَا شَاءَ اللهُ أَنْ تَعْمَلُوا، فَإِذَا عَمِلْتُمْ فِيهَا بِالْمَعَاصِي أُدِيلَ مِنْكُمْ عَدُوُّكُمْ فَرَدُّوكُمْ إِلَى أَرْضِ الْعَرَبِ، قَالَ: فَقُلْتُ عِنْدَ ذَلِكَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، كَيْفَ تَحْمِلُنَا أَرْضُ الْعَرَبِ، وَقَدْ حَدَّثْتَنَا بِكَثْرَةِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ ؟ قَالَ ﷺ: يُنَزِّلُ اللهُ لَكُمْ فِيهَا رِزْقًا، كَمَا أَنْزَلَ لِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ إِذْ تَاهُوا

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to us: Allah the Exalted will grant you power in the land; you will do therein what Allah wills you to do. When you commit sins therein, your enemy will be given mastery over you and drive you back to the land of the Arabs. He said: I said then: O Messenger of Allah, how will the land of the Arabs carry us, when you have told us of the large number of Muslims? He ﷺ said: Allah will send down provision for you therein, just as He sent down for the Children of Israel when they wandered.
