حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ أنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زَحْرٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ ؓ
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ يَقُولُ مَا يَزَالُ عَبْدِي يَتَقَرَّبُ إِلَيَّ بِالنَّوَافِلِ حَتَّى أُحِبَّهُ فَأَكُونَ أَنَا سَمْعَهُ الَّذِي يَسْمَعُ بِهِ وَبَصَرَهُ الَّذِي يُبْصِرُ بِهِ وَلِسَانَهُ الَّذِي يَنْطِقُ بِهِ وَقَلْبَهُ الَّذِي يَعْقِلُ بِهِ فَإِذَا دَعَا أَجَبْتُهُ وَإِذَا سَأَلَنِي أَعْطَيْتُهُ وَإِذَا اسْتَنْصَرَنِي نَصَرْتُهُ وَأَحَبُّ مَا تَعَبَّدَ لِي عَبْدِي بِهِ النُّصْحُ لِي

✧ On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he said: "Indeed, Allah says: 'My servant continues to draw near to Me with voluntary acts of worship until I love him. When I love him, I become his hearing with which he hears, his sight with which he sees, his tongue with which he speaks, and his heart with which he thinks. When he calls upon Me, I answer him, and when he asks of Me, I grant him. And when he seeks My help, I help him. And the most beloved of actions to Me are those that are done regularly."
