✧ Al-Hakam b. Abi al-‘As asked permission to enter upon the Messenger of God ﷺ, and he recognized his voice. He said: “Give him permission. May God curse him and all who come from his loins except their believers — and how few they are. They will be extravagant in this world, and debased in the Hereafter. They are possessors of cunning and deception. They will be given in this world, and they will have no share in the Hereafter.”
