✧ The killing of Ammar ᴿᴬ at Siffin and his statement ﷺ 'Ammar will be killed by the transgressing party'

حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ جَرِيرًا، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ شَيْخًا يُحَدِّثُ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ بِنْتِ هِشَامِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ، وَكَانَتْ تُمَرِّضُ عَمَّارًا ؓ، قَالَتْ:
جَاءَ مُعَاوِيَةُ إِلَى عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ ؓ يَعُودُهُ، فَلَمَّا خَرَجَ مِنْ عِنْدِهِ، قَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ لَا تَجْعَلْ مَنِيَّتَهُ بِأَيْدِينَا، فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ، يَقُولُ: تَقْتُلُ عَمَّارًا الْفِئَةُ الْبَاغِيَةُ
