وَقَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ: حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي لَيْلَى الْكِنْدِيِّ قَالَ:
أَشْرَفَ عَلَيْنَا عُثْمَانُ ؓ يَوْمَ الدَّارِ، فَقَالَ: يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ، لَا تَقْتُلُونِي فَإِنَّكُمْ إِنْ قَتَلْتُمُونِي كُنْتُمْ هَكَذَا، وَشَبَّكَ بَيْنَ أَصَابِعِهِ ؓ
Translation
