✧ Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent him alone as a spy to Quraysh. I came to the wooden cross of Khubayb, and I was afraid of being watched. I climbed up and untied Khubayb, and he fell to the ground. I withdrew to a place not far away, and I turned around but did not see Khubayb. It was as if the earth had swallowed him. He said: 'No trace of Khubayb's remains has been seen to this hour.'
