وَقَالَ أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَمْرِو بْنُ حَمْدَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بِهِ. فَلَزِمَ مِنْ هَذَا أَنْ تَرْجَمَ أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ وَسَلَمَةُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ لِعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ فِي الصَّحَابَةِ، وَلَا أَصْلَ لَهُ، وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ.:
Translation
✧ Abu Nu'aym said: Abu 'Amr b. Hamdan narrated to us, al-Hasan narrated to us with it. From this it follows that Abu Nu'aym and Salama b. Nafi' included 'Abd al-Rahman b. 'Uqba among the Companions, but there is no basis for that, and Allah knows best.:
