✧ Satan shouted on the day of Uhud: “Muhammad has been killed.” Ka'b b. Malik ؓ said: I was the first to recognize the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. I saw his eyes beneath the helmet, so I called out at the top of my voice: “This is the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.” He gestured to me to be silent. Then Allah, Mighty and Majestic, revealed: “And Muhammad is but a messenger; messengers have passed away before him. If he dies or is killed, will you turn back on your heels?” — the verse.
