قَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى: حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ مُزَاحِمٍ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ مِقْلَاصٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَسْعَدَ بْنِ زُرَارَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ؓ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

لَمَّا عُرِجَ بِي إِلَى السَّمَاءِ انْتُهِيَ بِي إِلَى قَصْرٍ مِنْ لُؤْلُؤٍ، فِيهِ فَرَائِصُ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ يَتَلَأْلَأُ، فَأُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ، أَوْ فَأَمَرَنِي فِي عَلِيٍّ بِثَلَاثِ خِصَالٍ: بِأَنَّكَ سَيِّدُ الْمُرْسَلِينَ، وَإِمَامُ الْمُتَّقِينَ، وَقَائِدُ الْغُرِّ الْمُحَجَّلِينَ

✧ When I was taken up to the heaven, I reached a palace of pearl, in which there were doors of gold that glittered. It was revealed to me, or I was commanded regarding 'Ali with three qualities: that you are the master of the messengers, the imam of the pious, and the leader of the radiant, marked ones [on the Day of Judgment].
