✧ Jibril ﷺ entered the Sacred Mosque and began to move about. He caught sight of the Prophet ﷺ sleeping in the shade of the Kaaba, so he woke him. He ﷺ stood up, shaking his head and beard of dust. He took him toward the gate of Banu Shaybah, and Mikail met them. Jibril said to Mikail, 'What prevented you from shaking the Prophet's ﷺ hand?' He said, 'I find on his hand the smell of brass.' It was as if Jibril ﷺ found that objectionable, so he said, 'Did you do that?' It was as if the Prophet ﷺ forgot, then he remembered and said, 'My brother spoke the truth. The day before yesterday I passed by Isaf and Na'ilah, and I placed my hand on one of them and said, "A people who are content with you two as gods besides Allah are an evil people."'
