وَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ: حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، ثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، ثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ؓ
أَنَّهُ أَتَى الْمِهْرَاسَ فَبَالَ قَائِمًا، ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ، ثُمَّ تَوَجَّهَ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ، فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: لَقَدْ فَعَلْتَ شَيْئًا يُكْرَهُ ؟ فَقَالَ: « خَدَمْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ تِسْعَ سِنِينَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ

✧ That he came to the mortar and urinated standing. Then he performed ablution and wiped over his leather socks. Then he headed to the mosque. I said to him: 'You have done something disliked?' He replied: 'I served the Messenger of God ﷺ for nine years, and he used to do that.'
